Research interests
- Identification of psychosocial risk and protective factors for cognitive health across the adult lifespan
- Personality and its association with cognitive outcomes (e.g. cognitive performance), health-related behaviors (e.g., alcohol consumption) and biomarkers (e.g., inflammation)
- Loneliness and socio-relational mechanisms that increase (or decrease) risk for cognitive impairment and dementia
- Couple dynamics and caregiving
